Hello! My name is Mina Wang. I am the instructional coach for the 2nd grade team. This is my 8th year at Ivy Hall. Previously, I was the Language Development Coach for 2nd and 3rd grade co-teaching and building capacity for classroom teachers to support our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse students. That is still a part of my role along with collaborating with teachers to implement high quality instruction across all subjects. I am very excited for another amazing year with 2nd grade!

I am married to my husband, Joey, and we have 2 boys, Philip and James. I was born and raised in Seoul, S. Korea until my family immigrated to the US when I was in 2nd grade. I was a student in D96 and feel so lucky and honored to be a staff supporting the community I grew up in. I speak Korean fluently and love to learn about others' cultures and languages!
