Second grade is an exciting time as children continue to embark on new adventures in the world of learning. This year your child will continue to grow as readers, writers, mathematicians, and so much more. I hope to make your child's learning experience a fun and exciting one while instilling a love of learning that will last a lifetime. With so much going on it is extremely important that we build on small successes. Each child will progress at his/her own rate, acquiring skills as they are developmentally ready. Maintaining each child's self-esteem and building a secure foundation for future growth will always remain a priority in my classroom.
