Welcome to another fabulous school year, second graders! I’m thrilled to
start our learning journey with each and every one of you. As we step into
the classroom together, let me share a little about myself!
This will be my seventh year teaching and my second year at Ivy Hall. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University - Go Panthers!! With a degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Language Arts and Social Studies.
In our classroom, we’ll celebrate each other’s unique perspectives, talents, and interests. We’ll build a supportive and inclusive community where everyone feels valued, seen and heard. We'll learn from our mistakes, persevere through challenges, and celebrate our wins together :)

Students will develop a sense of community and build essential skills in Reading, Writing, Language and Math. It is my belief that all students are capable of learning and together, as a team we will watch your students soar.
Parents are an integral part of a child's education program and it is my goal to create an atmosphere of open communication regarding your child’s progress, seamlessly from home to school!
