Hello and Welcome to our 2nd Grade Website!

My name is Ms. Bri Savic and I am very excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher this year! For the past four years, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Ivy Hall. My previous 28+ years of experience includes being a K-4 classroom teacher, EL teacher, Reading Specialist, and Literacy Coach.

As much as I love teaching, I love learning! My education includes earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University, a Master's Degree in Administration and Organizational Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master's Degree in Literacy and ESL Bilingual Education along with Reading Specialist certification from Lewis University. While teaching, I have taken many courses and participated in different kinds of professional learning so that I can be the best teacher I can be.
